BEHOLD, DEAR LISTENER, FOR THE LEGEND OF THE EYETRAPS IS SUCH:

Four ordinary but lovable dweebs were transformed by a series of increasingly unlikely supernatural events and assembled under one sacred banner: THE EYETRAPS.

Scholars have classified their sound as melodic indie rock, marked by big hooks, crunchy guitars, stacked harmonies, and an alarming attention to musical detail. Their live performances, however, have been deemed significantly less responsible, with scholars noting a tendency towards theatricality, excessive movement, and newfangled dance moves.

In August 2025, The Eyetraps released their debut EP. Now, the four are preparing a full-length record, the contents of which have been foretold to arrive in spring 2026.

The band is comprised of Alex Frantz (lead vocals, guitar), Zack Shafer (backing vocals, lead guitar), Phil Smith (backing vocals, bass), and Sophie Powell (drums).

A female musician passionately singing and playing an electric guitar on stage, with tattoos on her arms and legs, and wearing sneakers. She is accompanied by a male guitarist in the background, both performing under stage lights with musical equipment around them.
